I Proposal Meets Yes No Wire and cables: Types of wires that are in confomity with alllocal regulations that may be in effect must be selected: <br />1. Wire and cables may be manufactured by one of the <br />following approved companies or equivalent: <br />General Cable Company <br />Subtle Equipment Corporation <br />Allen Telephone Products, Inc. <br />U.S. Cable Company <br />Western Electric <br />Eastern Electric <br />2. Wires shall be color coded according to Western Electric <br />color code for each identification. <br />3. All low voltage wires shall be #24 B & S gauge or <br />equivalent. <br />Interconnection telephone decouplers (if applicable): <br />1. Registered with the P.C.C.; <br />2. Certified installers must do installation. <br />Switch Over <br />The switch over from the existing system to the new system must <br />be completed during other than the normal business hours ,8:00 <br />a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) to insure uninterrupted <br />service to all City offices and systems. Insofar as human.y <br />possible, the system shall be maintained on a continuous basis to <br />w?ll^expect the successful vendor to work cooperatively with the <br />present company to avoid unn*:cessary cut-offs and communications <br />interruptions. <br />Training <br />Prior to award, the vendor upon request <br />shall provide City representatives with a hands on opera g <br />demonstration of the specific system being offered. <br />upon installation completion, the vendor “^all prov^ <br />training to all City personnel, including the feceptionists.
