LMCD BOARD OF DIRECTORS July 25, 1990 <br />f) Lakeside Marina Dock Location <br />The Executive Director reported he has informed the <br />owner of Lakeside Marina that their floating docks as installed <br />do not meet full compliance with the application regarding exact <br />reconfiguration of the docks being replaced. The owner will <br />advise whether he needs more than the ten days allowed for <br />correction. <br />5. A. 2) ENVIRONMENT, Chair Reese <br />Reese reported the milfoil harvesting program is <br />running behind projections. A flexible plan is being developed <br />to work ten hour days, Monday through Thursday, eight on Fridays <br />through August. It may be necessary tu shorten the sea.son to <br />stay within the budget by ending in August. <br />Rascop complimented Paurus and the harvesting crew for <br />the cutting they did during the Olympic Festival in the lower <br />lake. <br />Reese identified the weed harvester hydraulic system as <br />creating major operating problems. The manufacturer is involved <br />to assure warranty coverage is provided wherever applicable. <br />5. A. 3) LAKE USE, Chair Pillsbury <br />a) Minutes Pillsbury moved, Foster seconded, approval <br />of the minutes of the meeting of 7-16-90 as submitted. Motion <br />carried. <br />b) Sub-committee Appointment <br />Foster moved, Boswinkel seconded. approval of a <br />subcommittee to review the Hennepin County Joint and Cooperative <br />Agreement between the Sheriff's Water Patrol and LMCD consisting <br />of JoEllen Hurr, Orono: Bert Foster,Deephaven; Douglas Babcock, <br />Spring Park and Sgt. Wm. Chandler of the Sheriff’s Water Patrol <br />or his designee. Motion carried unanimously. <br />c) Deposit Refunds <br />Pillsbury moved, Rascop seconded, to approve the <br />following deposit refunds: Minnetonka Bass Club, American <br />Scholarship Foundation, Minnetonka Crossing, and t nd City Days, <br />all having met the conditions of Lheir event pt s. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />d) Water Ski (Towing Pe.rsons) Ordinance /u-»..idment <br />The Executive Director suLmitted an amended copy of the <br />proposed ordinance which will allow for exceptions to Sec.3.10, <br />Subd. 1, of the Ordinance governin.^ wj ng of persons by <br />watercraft.
