ARTICLE VII <br />EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE <br />Section 1. The officers of the Center and two appointed <br />representatives from the Board shall constitute the Executive Committee <br />and have full power of management of the business of the Center during <br />the interval between meetings of the Board of Directors. <br />Section 2. One-half or more of the members of the Executive <br />Committee shall constitute a quorum. <br />Section 3. An act of the majority of the Executive Committee <br />present at a meeting of which a quorum is present is the act of the <br />committee. <br />V <br />ARTICLE VIII <br />MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS <br />Section 1. The annual meeting of the membership shall be held <br />on the third Tuesday of August each year at a specific time and place <br />designated oy the Board of Directors. <br />Section 2. All other meetings of the membership shall be at <br />the call of the Board of Directors or by six members of the Center in <br />good standing entitled to vote at a meeting of the membership. <br />Section 3. A majority of the membership present shall <br />constitute a quorum of the membership. <br />Section 4. Notice of all meetings of the membership shall be <br />given by mailing the notice to each member at least seven days in <br />advance of the meeting. <br />ARTICLE IX <br />COMMITTEES <br />The Board of Directors shall create such standing corranittees as <br />are necessary or desirable to carry on the programs of the Center. The <br />chairman of the standing committees shall be appointed by the President. <br />The President and/or the Executive Director, or their designate shall <br />attend all committee meetings. <br />ARTICLE XI <br />VACANCIES ^ <br />Vacancies on the Board of Directors shall be filled by <br />appointment by the President. .
