{M»5TaW <br />A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT <br />THE PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY <br />RICHARD KARNITZ IS THAT OF A <br />POLICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Association <br />Police and Fire Fund excludes part-time police officers unless a <br />resolution is adopted by the governing body to establish <br />eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of <br />the City of Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective <br />April 6, 1990, the position Rick> D. Karnitz holds is that of a <br />police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, <br />Subdivision 2, pursuant to which said employee shall become a <br />member of the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and <br />Fire Fund. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting held April 9, 1990. <br />ATTEST: <br />James R.
