Date: October 14, 2024 Item: 20 <br />Presenter: Adam Edwards, City Administrator / Engineer <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Title: Agreement - Sewer Line Relocation - 4215 Forest Lake Drive 24-043 <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The purpose of this items is to approve an agreement with the property owner at 4215 Forest Lake <br />Drive to move a city sewer main in order to construct a new home. <br />2.Background: <br />A city sewer main cross the property at 4215 Forest Lake Drive. The homeowner has new home <br />designed for the lot which would impact the sewer line. The homeowner is willing to pay for the <br />move of the main to facilitate the construction of his new home. The owners builder will move the <br />sewer main under city supervision. Once moved the sewer main will remain under the ownership <br />of the city for operation and maintenance. The homeowner and the neighboring property have <br />agreed to provide easements over the new sewer main alignment. <br />3.Cost: <br />There is no direct cost to the the city. <br />4.Staff Recommendation: <br />I recommend approval of the attached agreement.
