Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />f) Deicing applications <br />Rascop moved, Grathwol seconded, approval of <br />seventeen deicing renewals, including the late renewal for Reid <br />MacDonald, Minnetonka Beach, as follows: Curly's r.netonka <br />Marina, Gayle’s Marina Corp., Gray’s Bay Resort & Marina, <br />Howard's Point Marina, Maxwell Bay Marina, Minnetonka Boat Works, <br />Inc. (Wayzata), Minnetonka Boat Works, Inc. (Orono), Minnetonka <br />Yacht Club, North Shore Drive Marina, Paul Resberg, Rockvan Boat <br />Yards, Inc., Smith’s Bay Marina, Rodney Wallace, Wayzata, City of <br />Wayzata Yacht Club (Site 1), James Wyer. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />g) New Deicing Application <br />Foster moved, Grathwol seconded, appro''^! of a deicing <br />permit for Wayzata Yaclit Club, Site 2. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Hurr was excused. <br />2) EURASIAN WATER MILFOIL TASK FORCE - Chair Reese <br />a) Proposed Contract for Barge Service <br />Reese submitted a summary of a proposed barging <br />contract for transporting weeds harvest-. \ from the weed harvester <br />to shore in order to improve wee^i liarvesting tx*ansport <br />efficiency. A suggestion to advertise for a request for <br />proposals (RFP) was deemed not a good plan in this instance with <br />so many conditions in the weed liarvesting operation requiring <br />explanation which a contract bid provides. <br />Foster moved, Boswinkel seconded, approved preparation of a <br />contract for transporting weeds harvested and authorized <br />advertisement for bids.
