I <br />^ j <br />1 <br />LMCD Board of Directors December 6, 1989 <br />c) City of Hayzata New Multiple Dock License and <br />Special Density Perrit <br />•irathwol moved, Foster seconded, approval of a revised <br />and combined new multiple dock license and special density permit <br />for the Cdty of Wayzata authorizing 15 additional slips to its <br />Upper Marina as described in the 12/6/89 public hearing. <br />The motion and second were withdrawn following a discussion <br />o? amenities and the possibility of adopting an ordinance which <br />would consider all special density permits as new applications <br />for the pui'p.se of defining amenities. Wayzata’s upper and lower <br />marina permit was granted before the ordinance requiring <br />amenities. The most recent addition to their facilities was the <br />transient docks at Broadway Avenue. This application did not <br />involve a special density permit since it was predicated on on <br />1,390’ of shoreline from the depot to Broadway Avenue complying <br />with the 1:50 rule. <br />Grathwol moved, Foster seconded, a motion directing the <br />staff to prepare the Public Hearing findings and order to approve <br />the application of the City of Wayz<ta for a new Multiple Dock <br />License and Cpecial Density Permit allowing 15 additional slips <br />in its Upper Marina. <br />Babcock said the Spring Pai'k Council would like to see <br />amenities as a part of the application. Rascop would like <br />follow the procedure of returning the application to <br />Committee following the Public Hearing. Motion carried, Lewman votinrr nay. <br />Bjoriin was excused. <br />Martinson moved, Grathwf seconded, approval of the City of <br />Wayzata application for a new 'ck license and special density <br />permit. <br />Foster moved, Rascop stoonded, to table discussion of the <br />City of Wayzata application and return it to the Water Str’/.cture <br />and Environment Committee. Motion carried, Boswinkel, Reooo and <br />Martinson voting nay. <br />I
