1. <br />I nr <br />h <br />-V''- <br />r, , <br />rVr- <br />‘i-, <br />V ,•t <br />,r <br />i; <br />f.' <br />\ <br />r V . > <br />A. <br />B. <br />A. <br />A. <br />A. <br />A. <br />three months gross salary, including all insurance benefits, <br />if Involuntary termination takes place during the fourth year <br />of employment, <br />provided, however, that in the event EMPLOYEE is terminated because of <br />his conviction of any illegal act involving personal gain to him, then <br />in that event, the CITY shall have no obligation to pay the aggregate <br />severance sum designated in this paragraph. <br />SECTIOH I?: SALARY <br />The CITY agrees to pay EMPLOYEE for his services rendered pursuant <br />hereto an annual base salary of Forty-four thousand dollars <br />($44,000.00) payable in installments at the same time as other <br />employees of the CITY are paid. This salary may be adjusted as <br />provided in Section B. <br />The CITY agrees to increase the annual base salary of EMPLOYEE in such <br />amounts and to such extent as the City Council may determine that it is <br />desirable to do so on the basis of an annual anniversary performance <br />review of said EMPLOYEE and/or at such other time as the City Council <br />deems appropriate. <br />SECTION Y: HOURS OP WORK <br />It is recognized the EMPLOYEE'S work hours will exceed the normal forty <br />hour work week and that EMPLOYEE must devote time outside normal office <br />hours to business of the CITY and to that end EMPLOYEE will be allowed <br />to establish work schedules mutually acceptable to the EMPLOYEE and the <br />City Council. <br />• } <br />SECTION ?I: AUTOMOBILE <br />The EMPLOYEE will be paid a car allowance of Two hundred fifty dollars <br />($250.00) per month to compensate for all CITY driving on CITY <br />business. This rate shall be reviewed annually and adjusted by the <br />City Council as required. <br />SBCTIOh ?11: DUES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS <br />The CITY agrees to budget and to pay the professional dues and <br />subscription of EMPLOYEE necessary for his full participation in <br />national, regional, state and local organizations necessary and <br />desirable for his continued professional participation, growth, and <br />advancement, and for the good of the CITY. <br />SECTION VIII: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT <br />The CITY hereby agrees to budget and pay the travel and subsistence <br />expenses of EMPLOYEE for professional and official travel, meetings, <br />educational programs, and occasions adequate to continue the <br />professional development of EMPLOYEE and to adequately pursue necessary <br />official and other functions for the CITY, including, but not limited <br />tOf the Annual Conference of the International City Management <br />Association, the National League of Cities, the State League of <br />Municipalities, and such other committees thereof which EMPLOYEE serves <br />as a member up to a maximum of three (3) weeks per year. <br />-2-
