i •' <br />.'kr • <br />‘■t <br />.v: <br />I <br />!• <br />A. <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br />B. <br />A. <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />SBCTIOB II: BBALTB INSUHANCK <br />The CITY agrees to provide hospitalization, surgical, comprehensive <br />medical, dental and disability insurance for EMPLOYEE and his <br />dependents and to pay the premiums thereon equal to that which is <br />provided all other CITY management employees or to pay an equivalent <br />dollar or balance amount into a deferred compensation plan of the <br />EMPLOYEE'S cho ce legally available to the EMPL''* EE. <br />SBCTION OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT <br />Vacation. EMPLOYEE shall accrue vacation at the rate of twenty (20) <br />days per year <br />Holidays. EMPLOYEE shall receive holidays as provided for by City <br />Ordinance for other City management employees. <br />Sick Leave. EMPLOYEE shall be granted ninety (90) days of sick leave <br />on May 1, 1985 which may be used by EMPLOYEE for EMPLOYEE'S illness or <br />coo Job-* related injury or for serious illness in EMPLOYEE'S immediate <br />family. <br />Injury On Duty Leave. EMPLOYEE may use up to ninety (90) days of paid <br />leave less Workers' Compensation payments for time lost due to an <br />Injury incurred by EMPLOYEE while on duty and compensable under Sta.e <br />of Minnesota Workers' Compensation legislation. <br />Severance Pay. If EMPLOYEE voluntarily leaves employ of the CITY on <br />termination of this employment contract, EMPLOYEE will be paid two (2) <br />weeks severance pay. <br />F. EMPLOYEE Evaluation. <br />1.EMPLOYEE will meet no later than August 15, 1985 with the Mayor and <br />one City Council member to set and review performance goals for <br />EMPLOYEE. <br />2.EMPLOYEE will meet no later than November 15, 1985 and each six (6) <br />months thereafter with the Mayor and each City Council member to <br />review the EMPLOYEE'S performance. <br />SECTION XI: RETIREMENT CONTRIBUTIONS <br />In accordance with Minnesota Statute 353.028 the CITY OF ORONO will <br />adopt and pass the appropriate resolutions and make a contribution <br />equal to and in lieu of the required PERA contribution along with the <br />EMPLOYEE making his required contribution, to an approved deferred <br />compensation plan specified by the EMPLOYEE. This is in addition to <br />any FICA contribution. <br />SBCTION III: GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />The text herein shall constitute the entire agreement between the <br />parties. <br />This agreement shall become effective May 1, 1985, and shall be in <br />effect for four years. The EMPLOYEE and the CITY OF ORONO shall have <br />an option to extend this agreement for additional years by mutual <br />agreement. <br />If any provision, or any portion thereof, contained in this agreement <br />is held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or unenforceable, the <br />remainder of this agreement, or portion thereof, shall be deemed <br />severable, shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and <br />effect. <br />-3-
