REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, AUGUST 14, 1979• •Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to accept the
201 Alternative Waste Management Study Report from
the MetropolitaU'J'Jaste Control Comrrdssion and
Michael Gaffron'i^^eview of the study. Motion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0\ /
Page 15201 ALTERNATE WASTE
MANAGEMENT STUDY*
Mr. Alan Olson, City I^anner, entered into the
record the subdivision ^guest of Fred Herfurth,
2^5 North Ferndale Road,\^ated August 2, 1979,
which states:
The developer is proceed,ing\with design plans for
installation of improvementsXper the preliminary
approval in March.
I recommend adoption of the attached resolution
formally requesting Wayzata’s apJ>roval of the
necessary sewer and water extensions.
An inventory of existing sewer and water assessments
on this property indicates that the property was
originally assessed for three units (2 on Parcel 205
and one on Parcel 3600).
4
The Chevy Chase project was assessed wholely on a
unit basis with $2,108.04 per unit being a lateral
sewer assessment and $192.60 per unit being a lift
station assessment. Because in this case, the
developer is constructing his own laterals, I
recommend charging only the lift station portion
against the additional units in this division;
i.e. 4 units X $192.60 = $770.40. This amount \
would be payable with the fees and other charges ^at
the time of final plat approval.
./
Council Meeting - August 14, 1979
Butler move^ Paurus seconded, to adopt Resolution
#1061, A ysolution Requesting Approval Prom The
City Of W^zata For Sewer And V7ater Extensions Into
The North/ate Subdivision.
