The defense of this lawsuit is covered by the City's insurance through the League of <br />Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust. The firm of Greene and Espel is providing the <br />City's defense. An executive session regarding the litigation will be held after the <br />July 13 Council meeting. <br />12. Clarify Requirements Regarding Building PermitsA^ariances for Legally Non-Conforming <br />Structures that Have Been Damaged by Recent Storms. <br />A. Expected completion date - July 17. <br />13. Amendment to Home Occupation Ordinance. <br />% <br />A. The ordinance amendment is ready for review by the Council and Planning <br />Commission in a joint work session. <br />14. Clarify City Policy Regarding Plumbing in Accessory Structures. <br />A. Staff will present a report to the Planning Commission at its July 20 meeting. <br />15. Response to Cliff Otten's Request for an Interim Use at His Property on the Northeast <br />Quadrant of the Intersection of Highway 12 and County Road 6. <br />A. Action step: Add interim use permit language to the City Code. This will be <br />brought to the August Planning Commission meeting. <br />16. Amendment to the Density Credit Language in the LR-1 C-1 Zoning District. <br />• • <br />A. Revised language will be brought to the October Planning Commission meeting. <br />17. Right-of-Way Ordinance. <br />A. The City needs to adopt a right-of-way ordinance to set out requirements for those <br />who do work in the City's rights-of-way, particularly utility companies. The League <br />of Cities has developed a model ordinance. Other cities have made various revisions <br />to the League's model ordinance. Staff has the League’s ordinance and ordinances <br />from other cities. Staff will develop a draft ordinance by November 30,1998.
