Slope vs. Retaining Wall for Properties Between Old Crystal Bay Road and Willow <br />Drive. <br />1) Staff will provide a report to the Council identifying the pros and cons of <br />each option by July 24. <br />E. Determinaticn Regarding Whether the City will Allow Lots Made Non-Conforming <br />in Terms of Lot Area, Due to Right-of-Way Acquisition for High^vay 12, to Remain <br />as Separate Parcels. <br />1) Staff will determine the approximate lot area that would remain after the <br />right-of-way acquisition for each lot affected by the Highway 12 project. <br />Staff will also determine as clearly as possible, based on the City's on-site <br />septic information, whether each lot would continue to have a workable <br />septic system and an alternate septic site. This information will be <br />determined by July 24. <br />2. Highway 12 Land Use Issues. <br />A. Revision of the Industrial Zoning Ordinance. <br />1) Staff is developing an amended industrial zone ordinance focused toward <br />light industrial uses. An outline of the ordinance and key issues related to the <br />ordinance will be prepared by July 24 for discussion at a Council work <br />session. An ordinance will be drafted for Planning Commission review at the <br />August 17 Planning Commission meeting. <br />City Assessor. <br />A.Rolf Erickson has determined that he will not continue to provide property <br />assessment services for the City. Staff is preparing both an RFP and a job <br />announcement for the provision of property assessment services for the City. These <br />will be complete by July 17. Staffs goal is to have an assessor on board by late <br />August. <br />4. Comprehensive Plan Update. <br />A. Staff has suggested a w’ork plan and action steps for the completion of the update of <br />the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Staff needs direction from the Council regarding <br />whether the Council agrees with the work plan and the specific action steps. Once <br />the Council approves the work plan, staff will develop a timeline for completion of <br />each of the action steps.
