A RESOLUTION GR>»iNTING A VARIANCE <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br />FILE NO. 2330 <br />WHEREAS, Robert E. Beutler (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the <br />property located at 1331 North Arm Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") <br />and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 4, and that part of Lot 5 lying northeasterly of a straight line runmng from <br />the midpoint of the northwesterly line of said Lot 5 to the midpoint of the <br />southeasterly line of said Lot 5, Block 6; vacated Oak Placej also Lots 5 and <br />6, Block 7 all in Saga Hill revised, Hennepin County, Minnesota., attached <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit the construction of a new residence <br />on a property that does not meet the required lot width of 140’ measured at the shoreline at <br />74.89' and 83' at the 75' setback. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2192. <br />The property is located in the LR-IB Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District requiring one acre in area.
