The <br />Planning Comnission concurred that the first step would be to <br />define a series of goals and policies that would set forth the <br />^>f*N®Nork for discussion and finally support a final <br />racoansndation. They agreed that the recommendation must include <br />a specific location for an east/west corridor, the type of <br />corridor or upgraded road to be installed and potential Impact <br />upon existing toning (land use) within the City of Orono and <br />ii^>act of an east/west corridor on adjacent cities. <br />For the record, this recommendation has been developed <br />without the benefit of the findings of the modeling and traffic <br />forecast study by Howard Needles t Associates to be completed in <br />April of 1991.
