Briefly, <br />applicant requests a front setback variance of 7' from the 35' <br />requirement, to construct additions to the existing residence. <br />At the Planning Commission's March 20th meeting, applicant <br />provided a floor plan layout Indicating the relationship of the new <br />porch and entryway to the living room, and showing the increase in <br />site of the bedroom on the second floor. On a vote of 4 to 0, <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of the front setback <br />variance, finding: <br />Mo impact on the neighborhood. <br />The hardship is the existing house location and room layout, <br />also the fact that the house was built prior to the current <br />setback requirements. Planning Commission included in their <br />motion that the resolution should specify no further <br />encroachment towards the road would be appropriate after <br />this addition is completed. <br />Staff irarnamanitatl <br />Staff recommends approval per the Planning Commission <br />recosmendation.
