Appointment, Term of Office <br />Removals, Vacancies in Office <br />Organization <br />Jurisdiction and Duties <br />201.01:COMMISSION CRE.\TED, APPOINTMENT. TERM OF OF­ <br />FICE: .A Planning Commission consisting of seven (7) members <br />shall be appointed by the City Council. <br />201.02: REMOVALS. VACANCIES IN OFFICE: The City Council shall <br />have the power to remove any member of the Planning Com­ <br />mission for cause after a public hearing. Vacancies in the Planning Commission <br />shall be filled for the une.xpired term of the member whose place has become <br />vacant in the manner herein provided for the appointment of members. <br />201.03:ORGANIZ.ATION; <br />Subd. 1. Officers: The City Council shall appoint a chairman from among the <br />members of the Planning Commission.' (Ord. 77, 9-24-73; amd. 1987 <br />Code) <br />Subd. 2. Meetings and Hearings: <br />a. All meetings of the Planning Commission shall be held at a regularly <br />scheduled date or at the call of the chairman or at the request of a ma­ <br />jority of the members of said Commission. <br />b. All hearings conducted by the Planning Commission shall be open to <br />the public. <br />Subd. 3. Minutes and Records: The Planning Commission shall keep minutes <br />of its proceedings showing the vote of each member upon every ques ­ <br />tion, or if absent or failing to vote indicating such fact, and shall also keep <br />I.
