These include, but are not limited to <br />the following: <br />A business in which an employee hs inancial interest, <br />receives benefits from, or occupies a position which may <br />enable the employee to influence the placing of City <br />business either inside or outside the City organization. <br />b.A business in which an employee accepts full or part-time <br />work where such activity interferes with their duties and <br />job performance. Any full-time employee who wishes to <br />accept part-time work elsewhere must have approval of the <br />City Administrator. <br />Any potential conflict may subject the employee to a meeting <br />with the City Administrator to determine if disciplinary action is <br />required. <br />217. FORCE REDOCTIOW <br />The City Council may lay off any employee, provided that two <br />(2) weeks advance written notice is given. No regular employee <br />shall be laid off while there are temporary or probationary <br />employees serving in the same class of positions for which the <br />regular employee is qualified, eligible, and available. <br />218. BBSIGHATIOH <br />Any employee wishing to leave the municipal service in good <br />standing shall file with the City Administrator, at least fourteen <br />(14) calendar days before leaving, a written resignation stating <br />the effective day of the resignation and the reason for leaving. <br />Failure to comply with this procedure shall be considered cause <br />for denying such employee future employment by the municipality <br />and denying severance pay including pay for accrued vacation and <br />sick leave. <br />219.
