He thankea the City <br />of MInnetrlsta and Scott Carlson for their support and thanked Dick <br />Cherba tor the use of the plane. He explained that the summary <br />included In the report is based on old criteria, but the Task Force <br />has requested the summary be changed to be based on new criteria. <br />Jabbour explained that the DNR has counted 217 car/trailer parking <br />spaces• but based uoon the DNR's old criteria there are actually <br />046 parking spaces available. He said the DNR has agreed to allow <br />10* credit for parking of vehicles with canoes, jet skis and other <br />recreational vehicles. He has suggested to the DNR to reduce the <br />number of parking spaces by 145 to get to the 700 parking spaces <br />mentioned before. He added the Fisherman’s Lobuy has supported <br />Orono’s position.
