That
advertisement, copy attached, offers in part^
"Dry/Yard Storage" for "unlimited in and out"
watercraft launching and customer parking for the
summer mon^’.hs.
Lakeside Mari.ia, Inc. is licensed for a total
of 77 watercrait. or boat storage units (BSU) at
its multiple dock facility.
Storage of watercraft at an off-lake storage
facility such as you propose may be established
only by expanding existing facilities after
obtaining a Special Density License and a new dock
license according to LMCD Code provisions.
On the basis of the 77 BSU, Lakeside Marina Inc.'s
multiple dock license has a grandfathered boat
density of one boat per four feet of shoreline.
Because of this grandfathered density condition,
the Lakeside Marina, Inc. multiple dock license
would not be eligible for further density
allowances. The maximum density allowed under
current LMCD Code Special Density provisions is one
boat for ten feet of shoreline including boats
stored on land, as well as those stored on the
waters of the lake.
Based upon this analysis, we conclude that your
offer for "dry/yard storage" with "unlimited in and
out- service is not allowed over the 77 ®fUs under
your current license. This service is not eligible
for additional BSUa to your current license.
In order to demonstrate your compliance
LMCD Code Section 2.045, copy enclosed, the LMCD
will require written documentation in the fo
contract, order or agreement.
for LMCD inspection, as to the watercraf
at your facility being either:
a. Awaiting repair or maintenance service ___
scheduled by an identified date on the r^„air
or maintenance document.
