In each case, unless <br />noted below, all facets of each operation are essentially identical to past years. Following is a <br />brief synopsis of each operation: <br />A.Sanay Beach Place. 3995 North Shore Drive. Operated by H. Richard <br />Zuckman. this seven-slip Joint dock serves the rental cabins on the propeny. The <br />fust year licensed was 1983, the same year that the City adopted Resolution <br />#1572 granting a conditional use permit and variance for continuing the legal non- <br />conforming year-round rental of the existing seven cabins on the property. <br />In 1991. oih she seven cabins was removed (it was leaning precariously), <br />leaving six eiital units. Given the basis for allowing seven slips in 1983, it <br />would secvn appropriate that the 1993 and future licenses be limited to six slips, <br />one for each remaining rental unit. The proposed license resolution incorporates <br />the six-slip limit. Staff advised LMCD of this pending reduction within the <br />45-day timeframe for their 1993 license review. Mr. Zuckman has been informed <br />of the reduction and expressed that he has no objection. A S2.00 slip fee credit <br />toward the 1994 license would be appropriate. <br />B Minnetonka Power Squadron - Big Island. The Power Squadron maintains 45 <br />•rarsient slips at 10 docks for their picnic grounds at Big Island. The City has <br />been licensing »his joint use since 1969 We have received no complaints <br />regarding the Power Squadron.
