The two parties are currently using the existing <br />driveway together. Mr. Holm stated that it would Le no <br />problem to relocate the driveway if so desired. Mr. Oberhauser <br />presented a petition from the neighbors indicating no objection <br />to the proposal. <br />Gerald Hagen was pi’esent. He stated he had no comments. <br />After all the public were heard, the public hearing was <br />closed at 8:35 p»ni. <br />The Planning Commission continued discussion of the application. <br />The Planning Commission determined that the proposed subdivision <br />would be a remedy to the existing situation. <br />Frahm moved, Hassel seconded, to recommend approval of the <br />preliminary subdivision subject to access easements as necessary <br />to eliminate possible access problems in the future. <br />Motion - Ayes (6), Nays (O). <br />Chairman McDonald annoimced this was the time and place for <br />a public hearing on the petition of Conley Brook*- for a <br />subdivision of property located at 1125 Spring Hill Road. <br />The Zoning Administrator presented the Notice of Public <br />Hearing and the Affidavit of Publication. <br />Mr. Herfurth, representing Mr. Brooks, presented the preliminary <br />subdivision proposal. Mr. Brooks is requesting approval to <br />subdivide Tract A (part of original subdivision approved by <br />Council this past August) into two i>arcels. Both parcels <br />would exceed the minimum 2 acre and 200 ft. Tot width require <br />ments. However, there is only one access for the two parcels <br />and the driveway entering Parcel A-2 is partially located on <br />Parcel A-1. The Zoning Administrator presented a copy of <br />the letter from the City Engineer in which he i-ecommended <br />that an easement be included to eliminate any possible legal <br />problems. The City Engineer also noted that a garage located <br />on Parcel A-1 is not showfi on t’ne preliminary plat. Mr. Herfurth <br />commented that Mr. Brooks may consider moving the bam. <br />After all the public were heard, the public hearing war. closed <br />at 8:ii-5 p.m. <br />Tlie Planning Commission continued to discuss the proposed plat. <br />The Coimnission reviewed the report submitted by the Minnehalia <br />Creek Watershed District indicating their concern for the <br />marsh areas along the creek.
