Snack bar open with one vendor serving <br />coffee. Ski shop open with one attendant. Saw one man <br />with Ski Patrol jacket and one other attendant outside. <br />No owner present. At least 40 persons on the slopes <br />skiing, mostly children. Chalet stairways icy and <br />treacherous. Four tow ropes operating. Two photos taken. <br />TAG ISSUED #33-013201 for violation of Orono 69A.020. <br />Tag sent to owner by certified mail on January 10, 1977; <br />receipt received January 12, 1977, <br />City Attorney advises that Police should continue to issue <br />tags. Still absolutely no response from o\>n:ier as to <br />license application. <br />Police inspection - area operating today. ^Chief subse <br />quently issued Tag #33-013191-3k^ <br />Insurance certificate received from carrier. Still no <br />other license information or fees. <br />Call from City Attorney: says he talked with Brent Primus <br />and asked him to contact City staff this p.m. to discuss <br />license application requirements. Primus was also informed <br />that the matter would be on the Council agenda for 1-24-77. <br />Staff received no contact from Mr. Primus. <br />(P.M.) Call from Attorney Jeff Bonner representing Primus. <br />He asked to meet with A1 Olson on Monday to review situation. <br />Was told okay, but also please begin arrangements for <br />safety inspection if they have not already been started. <br />He was also advised of the Council agenda. <br />Council instructed Brent Primus and his attorney to have <br />license application to staff by 1-27-77 and to arrange for <br />a safety inspection as soon as possible. They told Primus <br />that they would consider Phase II expansion through normal <br />conditional use application procedures. <br />A.
