A RESOLLTION APPROVING <br />A METES AND BOUNDS <br />SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR <br />HIE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br />65/75 FERNDALE GREEN <br />FILE NO. 1844 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municinal coi-poration organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHERF:AS. the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") <br />has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and sale development of land <br />within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision by <br />Kenneth R. Hopkins (hereinafter "the subdivider") of properties legally dcc^ribed as tollov^s; <br />Outlot A and Lot 2, Block I, Fairway Hills Addition, Hennepin County. <br />Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the subdivider has completed all requirements of the City for metes <br />and bounds subdivision of a lot line rearrangement tor division and combination purposes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, uhat the City Council of the City <br />of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division of a lot line rearrangement for Kenneth <br />R. Hopkins as shown on the C'ertificate of Survey by Raymond Prasch of Ia>t Surveys Company. <br />Inc. dated August 27. 1993 and attached to this resolution, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Fhe purpose of the lot line rearrangement is to create adequate rcM^m for an <br />access drive and landscape berm. The City F.ngineer recommends the following <br />guidelines for completion of project: <br />a. The west and north side of the berm must be regraded to 3:1 slope. If <br />slopes exceed 3:1, wihkI fiber blanket .shall be installed over tlie seeding <br />to prevent erosion until adequate vegetation is established. <br />Page I of 3
