3.Inform the city of Orono that its rural service area policies and land use controls qualify the <br />city as an exception to the Council ’s Rural Service Area policies. <br />4.Recommend that the city of Orono to complete iu 1981 HI Anah'sis update, establish an <br />inspection program to eliminate illegal clear water connections, and prepare and submit <br />annual progress reports to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission and the Metropolitan <br />Council of actions taken to solve infiltration and inflow problems in the municipal sanitary <br />sewer system. <br />5.Inform the city of Orono that as part of its next comprehensive plan amendment it must <br />adopt the Metropolitan Council ’s Interim Strategy to Reduce Sonpo'mt Pollution to All <br />Metropolitan Water Bodies. <br />Respectfully submitted. <br />Dottie Rietow, Chair <br />1 <br />L..
