RIGHT OF ENTRY PERMIT <br />1. DEFlNrnONS: <br />The following definitions apply to the temns used in this document: <br />DNR means Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. <br />AGENCY means the represented unit of government including but not limited to municipality, city, <br />township, county and federal agencies, including but not limited to National Park Service, U. S. <br />Forest Service, US. Fteh and Wildlife Service and Army Corps of Engineers. <br />EXOTIC SPECIES MONITORING means inspection of watercraft for harmful exoHc species, ensuring <br />that public water accesses are weed and debris free while monitoring teams ar^resent, verbal <br />communication of the laws and issues surrounding the existence, spread and enects of exotic spedes <br />to Minnesota's waters, distribution of written materials and exotic alert tags, collection of <br />information and data necessary to evaluate: the spread of exotic spedes, the effect of public awareiwss, <br />the response of recreational watercraft users to tne pro|ect, and other pertinent research information. <br />PUBLIC WATER ACCESS means any public area designated for the primary purpose of bunching <br />m • ^ ^ * ________^ ______a ^ _ _____^_____and exiting watercraft to an adjacent b(xiy of water <br />2. PERMISSION TO ENTER: <br />The gives permission to enter and occupy, for the purpose <br />(FMimlAtMcy. County, MynldpaHtv.Towiiihlp) <br />of Exotic Spedes Monitoring, all public water accesses administered by the above agency and ad|acent <br />to waters identified DNR as being conbminated tvith exotic wedes. I^IR may exerdse this <br />permission through its employees and authorized volunteers.
