MN 56323>0066 <br />Dear Mr. Gaffron: <br />In reference to the Lear application, we have planned the following landscape for <br />the entire bank and wall areas: <br />• The lower wall areas will be planted with evergreens and hedges so as to <br />hide the entire wall surface after a modest amount of growth. <br />• The upper walls and sloped areas will have a combination of specimen <br />shrubs and evergreens, and the balance of the area will be planted with <br />masses of perennial flowers. <br />• The entire work area will have the soil covered with a Celslor erosion mat <br />and a thick layer of wood fiber mulch with netting pinned over the surface <br />In the sloped areas. There will be no seeding, and any sod on slopes will <br />be staked to prevent erosion. <br />The proposed plans will more than compensate for any removal necessary to <br />complete the wall work on the site. I will provide you a transparency of the <br />landscape planting plan for the Monday meeting to use (if needed) to answer <br />questions on the extent of the planting plan.
