Police Contract Service Explanation. The City of Orono <br />will deliver 24 hour patrol and response throughout Orono, <br />Minnetonka Beach, Spring Park and Long Lake; will conduct <br />routine patrol throughout the cities as needed, will conduct <br />periodic security checks of businesses, and will conduct such <br />duties as requested by the Contract City's councils. The City <br />of Orono will submit regular reports to the Contract City <br />officials and appear at council meetings or any c*her special <br />meetings as required by the council. This can be cue Chief or <br />any other member of the department as required by the council. <br />One officer assigned to and stationed in Spring Park 24 hours <br />per day, seven days per week was requested by Spring Park and <br />will be assigned to Spring Park by mutual agreement between <br />the City of Orono Police Department and the Spring Park City <br />Council. <br />The equivalent of two officers were requested by Long Lake and <br />will be assigned to Long Lake by mutual agreement between the <br />City of Orono Police Department and the Long Lake City <br />Council. <br />23.Duration of Contract and Termination of_Cpntragt^ .^., <br />Notwithstanding language in Section 1 (A) on Page 1; this <br />agreement shall remain in full force and effect from January <br />1, 1995 until December 31, 1995 and shall be automatically <br />renewed a;mually thereafter for each successive contract year <br />unless terminated by either party by serving written notice <br />upon the City Clerk of all Contract Cities by October first of <br />the current contract year. <br />Page 12 <br />-
