TWs <br />was a traumatic time for our family which includes nvo children ages 8 and 3 Since the <br />fire we have personally lived in four dififerent locations We have physically moved thrw <br />times to new housing because our previous rented homes were sold This has impacted us <br />all including our 8 year old who has learned a new bus schedule to school every other <br />month this /ear This 'ack of stability has been hard on our family and also traumatic. <br />As vou know, we have worked very- hard with the ary in desigmng our home which would <br />be acceptable to the citv and the neighborhood I would like to point out that we <br />accomplished this at the last Planning and Zoning meeting which concluded with a vote ot <br />4-1 for our proposed plans. The Planning and Zoning Commissioner stated; ’’he was glad <br />to see we had revised our plans significantly to the satisfaction of all involved We also <br />were able to come to an agreement with the Smerlings and thus had a unanimous <br />agreement with our neighborhood with over 18 families (see petition) who are adjacent <br />property owners in favor of our plans. <br />I trust vou will weitth all the faas based on their merit and have fliU confidence in the <br />government process and the integrity of all individual City found’ M'^mbers who serve <br />our citv. <br />CITY OF ORONO
