Purpose. The purpose of this agenda item is to adopt a Resolution 7418 Certifying the Assessment <br />Roll of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br />2. Background. On July 24t1i, 2017 the Orono City Council passed resolution number 6781, A <br />Resolution Approving the Establishment of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. The district is <br />required to hold an annual meeting in which it adopts an annual budget and a tax roll. On September 28, <br />2023 the district held its annual meeting and adopted its 2024 budget and tax roll. The district has <br />forwarded the assessment roll to the City for certification to Hennepin County. <br />3. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends the adoption of the attached resolution levying the <br />Assessment Roll for the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt Resolution 7418 Certifying the Assessment Roll of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement <br />District. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
