The Dorrs said the plans were originally for a twt>-story home and have <br />been changed to a story and a half. The applicant does not wish to change the pitch on the <br />roof <br />The neighbor to the north voiced her approval of the plan She said it the home won le <br />built back into the hillside, it would cause erosion and tree removal. Former owner <br />Gravdon McCulley, was present and said this was his summer home for 35 years. He is m <br />approval of the replacement plan and have known the Dorrs for some time McCulley also <br />said that being on a point is important and should make a difference. <br />The Commission noted the absence of the Hoffmans, who are out-ot-town. Several <br />Commission members concurred that the topography of the property makes the pre^nt <br />location the reasonable location for the new structure 1 he Commission emp asi/e t .e <br />need for the applicants and the Fioffmans to discuss the plans. <br />Rowlettc moved, Lindquist seconded, to approve Application #1977 for an average <br />lakeshore setback v-ariance.
