StalT <br />concurs wth Planning Commission’s recommendation to approve the revised proposal, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. Boulder walls at the base of the slope are not approved. <br />2. Excavation of the slope itself is not approved. Proposed plantings shall be <br />accomplished without excavation of the slope. <br />Boulder wulls at the top of the slope and minor filling behind them in the yard area <br />is approved subject to use of "Best Management Practices for Protecting Water <br />Quality in Urban Areas" during the boulder wall construction process. Revegetation <br />shall occur immediately after completion ot wall construction. <br />Existing landscape fabric in the 0-75' zone shall be removed, resulting in final <br />hardcover including existing stairway and new boulder walls of approximately 3.7% <br />in the 0-75’ zone. <br />3. <br />4. <br />A resolution is attached refiecting the above recommendation. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />PROPOSED MOTION: Moved by ____. seconded by ____. to adopt Resolution No. --------- <br />crantine a variance and conditional use permit to Michael and Barbara Wigley at 1035 Tonkawa <br />Road for construction of boulder walls at the top of the lakeshore bank in the 0-75’ lakeshore setback <br />zone.
