Jason <br />has volunteered to build and install benches in the Cr>stal Bay I'layground and in other City <br />parks as part of the requirements of getting his Eagle Badge. <br />Tlie City would purchase the material to build the benches and Jason and other Boy Scouts <br />would assist in the construction and installation. The cost of materials amounts to $55.00 per <br />bench. Jason feels that a worthwhile project would be to build and install six benches. <br />This matter was presented to the Park Commission on September 5, 1995 and wa.s unanimously <br />approved. <br />It is recommended t<» purenase materials for six park benches and to have Jason Christensen <br />construct and instaU the hctKlies as part of his requirements to acquire his Eagle Badge for Boy <br />Scouts. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion, to authorize Jason Christensen to build and install six park benches at a cost of $330, <br />to be appropriated from the Park Fund, with a budget adjustment of the same amount. <br />ch
