Page 2
The corporals are an important resource that must be used to
implement this proposed change in how we conduct our business. I
have assigned a corporal to be a liaison with each contract city
as well as with the fire departments we use. Each corporal will
be asked to help determine what the monthly objectives should be
by talking with the city clerk/administrator and by talking with
the officers who are usually assigned to a particular contract
city. Once the corporals have helped to establish monthly
objectives, it will also be their responsibility to direct the
efforts of the patrol officers to achieve those goals. I would
suspect in some cities they may want the scune priorities for
several months in a row such as traffic enforcement issues.
The on-going process of soliciting input from the city
councils and the clerk/administrators will be done by the police
chief, the lieutenant, and all three corporals. Objectives and
priorities will be discussed at the corporal monthly meetings.
The corporals will then be expected to see that the patrol
officers have their activities guided by the specific monthly
objectives.
CoRporal (XSS^^AeA as U->«4 h
C\\ ot
riepaA-Viv\(?>A'V
dorporcV
Corporal
V lva (3>^act^
4>2m\3oosk.\ V\AisoNa
(;j(Xv zciAzs C>-e. po^\
