She however, feels the <br />parking is too tight for proper maneuverability. <br />Additionally, she felt that the Planning Commission <br />could not make a recommendation until a complete plan <br />for the new club house is submitted. She suggested that <br />the Planning Commission proceed with the other issues <br />and conceptually approve the footprint. <br />CounciImember Callahan stated that the Council will not <br />review this application further until an entire <br />connercial site plan has been sulwiitted. <br />In response to Chairman Kelley's question, Mr. Love <br />stated the specific rip~rap plan to protect the <br />shoreline is not available at this time. <br />Chairman Kelley stated that plans pertaining to the <br />shoreline should be submitted with the commercial site <br />plan. <br />Planning Commission discussed allowing a caretaker <br />apartment above the club house. Planning Commission <br />recommended that a caretaker be on site - possibly for <br />the summer months only. <br />Harriet Tourangeau, 2060 Spates Ave., asked about the <br />status of an overflow parking lot on the 1950 Shoreline <br />Drive residential property. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth stated that the issue of <br />permitting a parking lot on that property has been <br />tabled by Council pending the commercial site plan. At <br />this time, the overflow parking will be permitted in the <br />municipal parking lot on weekends. <br />Mr. Toberman stated that with the current proposal, an <br />overflow parking area may never be needed. <br />There were no other comments from the public and the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Bellows, seconded by Taylor, to <br />recommend conceptual approval of the variances required <br />with exception of the variance to the required 48 <br />parking stalls.
