f <br />HmUTBS OP TBB PLAHNIVG COMaSSIOB TING HELD FEBRUARY 17» 1987 <br />#1080 CITY OF OROHO COHTim <br />Mr. Burger asked about the feasibility of two building <br />lots on the south portion of the Burger prop»»rty if <br />sewered. <br />Staff and Planning Commission explained to Mr. Burger <br />the required 2-acres of contiguous dry-buiIdable area. <br />Jim Mausr 3700 Bayside Road, asked how many lots could <br />be developed on the Miner property if rezoned. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth stated that based on dry <br />land configuration, the southern part of the Miner <br />property would remain at the current density. <br />There were no other comments from the public and the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Chairman Kelley, seconded by Bellows, to <br />recommend approval of the rezoning as proposed by s'.aff. <br />Motion, Ayes 6, Nays 0. <br />#1102 ZOHIIIG AMBHDMEIIT - RS DISTRICT <br />PARKING LOT IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br />ALLOWED WITH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />Staff submitted the parking lot amendment drafted per <br />Planning Commission's directiuii at their last meeting. <br />Chairman Kelley wished to amend it to read "A 10 feet <br />wide buffer of natural screening, preferably evergreens, <br />shall be planted ...". Ke also noted thav he would like <br />the Police Department's input on this amendment. <br />Bellows voiced concern for parking accomodations for the <br />overnight sailor, which this amendment prohibits. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth noted that t!iis amendment, <br />deals specifically with a parking lot use in residential <br />districts.
