Staff <br />finds no problem with the building envelope as indicated <br />on the plan. <br />Chairman Kelley stated he would like to see Lots 1 4 2» <br />Block 5 combined with Lot 1, Block 4, including the <br />vacation of Ridge Place between the lots. <br />Charles Hommeyer, 4125 Oak Street, was opposed to <br />vacating Ridge Place because it would eliminate the need <br />to adhere to the 35* road setback requirement, and allow <br />a larger building envelope for that lot. <br />Mabusth noted that because of the existence of the sewer <br />pipes, she did not feel the City would consider vacating <br />Ridge Place. <br />There were no other comments from the public and the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Chairman Kelley, seconded by Johnson, to <br />recommend approval of the lot area and lot width <br />variances per staff recommendation, subject to the <br />condition that the building envelope as described on the <br />plan being maintained. <br />Mr. Hommeyer asked about the status of upgrading Oak <br />Street because of the addition of a fourth residence to <br />be served by this private road.
