Motion, Ayes*6, Nays “0, Motion passed. <br />#1380 6I0B6B PABTRIDGB <br />625 SPBIB6 HILL MAO <br />VACATIOH OP MAD RIGHT-OP-MAT <br />PUBLIC HBARIHG 8;00 P.N. ~ 8:02 P.M. <br />The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing were <br />duly noted. <br />The applicants were present for this matter, as was Mr. Bill <br />Rottschaefer, the applicants' attorney. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth explained that this application <br />involved a 40' right-of-way currently owned by Hennepin County. <br />It is common practice that whenever County roads are vacated, <br />that the right-of-way reverts back to the local jurisdiction. <br />Mr. Rottschaefer reported that the County had indicated that <br />they no longer had any interest in the property. The County <br />required a request from the City of Orono to have the right-of- <br />way transferred to the City. <br />There were no comments from the public regarding this matter <br />and the public hearing was closed. <br />It was moved by Planning Commissioner Bellows, seconded by <br />Planning Commii^sioner Moos, to recommend approval of this <br />application for a vacation of road right-of-way. Motion, Ayes*6, <br />Nays«0, Motion passed. <br />#1359 DAVID LIHDSTHON <br />1315 NOODHILL AVBHOB <br />VARIAHCBS-RBVIBN OP AMBHDBD SITE PLAH <br />Mr. David Lindstrom was present for this matter. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth reminded the Planning <br />Commission that they had approved a separation setback variance <br />by a 4 to 3 vote at their last meeting. The applicant heeded the <br />minority advice and has revised his original proposal. Only a <br />front street setback variance will be required. <br />It was moved by Planning Commissioner Cohen, seconded by <br />Planning Commissioner Bellows, to recommend approval of the front <br />street setback variance for the purpose of constructing an <br />addition. Motion, Ayes»6, Nays=0, Motion passed.
