. r <br />Request for Council Action continued <br />page 2 of 2 <br />December 6, 1996 <br />County Road 15 Roadway Project - Orono Lane to Orono Eastern Border - Final Plans and <br />Cooperative Agreement <br />Variance For Filling of a City Desienated Wetland <br />The roadway project involves some filling in the wetlands located between the existing roadway <br />and the railroad tracks. Because these are city designated wetlands, they cannot be filled unless <br />a variance has been obtained. The County is preparing a variance application for the Januaiy <br />Planning Commission meeting to meet this requirement. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />1.Motion to adopt a resolution to approve the f.nal plans for County Road 15 roadway <br />project #9222, and to approve the construction cooperative agreement between Hennepin <br />County and the City of Orono for the County Road 15 roac'way project #9222.
