J';; <br />I' 1 <br />• * **;♦ - - ■ ^-‘ <br />MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 15,1997 <br />BercK questioned whether the additional land would be used in determinine the amount of <br />hardcover available. Gaf&on indicated the 0-75* and 75-250' setback areas are considered <br />separately. Schroeder said the lot size is what will increase. <br />Smith voiced concern with additional land acquiring deeming a lot buildable. Hawn noted <br />it was located in the 0-75' setback. Gafifron said it could be a concern in a different <br />arrangement but not in this case due to the setback and lakeshore. <br />Schroeder asked the motion include a scenic easement which will benefit the property <br />owner of980 West Femdale and Robert Floyd, <br />Floyd noted that the covenants do not address the maple trees located on the tip of the <br />point. Brooks said he does have the scenic easement already and is willing to move the <br />maple trees. Schroeder noted that no easement would be required if he owns the <br />property. <br />The special lot arrangement was expired. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 3, Lindquist, Smith, and Berg, Berg said she is concerned wiiIi <br />setting a precedent.
