Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Dear Council Members: <br />This letter is in further support of my application <br />® JiJ^ivison/recombination, to be considered as <br />1007 Council meeting on October 13, <br />Attached are three exhibits which should serve to <br />Clarify the reasoning behind my application: <br />1. Exhibit A is a letter from me to Mr. Robert Floyd, <br />my neighbor, pertaining to the Lot 13 sub­ <br />division/recombination. This letter addresses the <br />unusual and unique nature of this situation and <br />stresses that it should not be regarded as some <br />sort of precedent for other transactions. <br />2. Exhibit B is a map indicating the parcels of <br />property owned by 980 West Ferndale Road, <br />including Lot 13. The map is intended to show how <br />the parcels logically are arranged with respect to <br />one another and fit together as a group, despite <br />the fact that Lot 13 is separated from the rest by water. ^ <br />3. Exhibit C shows view sightlines from the four <br />properties which have visual access to Lot 13: <br />905, 960, 980, (formerly) 1045, and 1055 West <br />Ferndale Road. As the exhibit demonstrates, the <br />properties at 905 and 1055 West Ferndale have <br />relatively little exposure to Lot 13 from a view <br />standpoint. However, 960 (the Floyds) has a view <br />over the peninsula, and my property at 980 and the <br />former 1045 West Ferndale Road are particularly <br />engaged with Lot 13 for their view. At 1045, <br />given the low-lying topography of that lot, it is
