When the plans are approximately 60 percent complete, Bonestroo will provide the MrVDOT State Aid office with a plan set to review. This submittal will give Mn/DOT the opportunity to <br />review the plan format and some of the major design work. <br />1.6 — Prepare Specifications <br />The specifications and special provisions for the projea will be <br />writt en following the Mn/DOT standard format. Specifications <br />will refer to the Mn/DOT's Standard Specifications for <br />Construaion, 1 995 Edition (Metric) and augmented with special <br />provisions. <br />1.7 — Prepare Cost Estimate <br />Using the previously developed cost estimates and format. <br />Bonestroo will refine the cost estimate for the project. This cost <br />estimate will be cross-referenced with tables In the plan sheets, <br />the summary of quantities, and back-up documentation. <br />1 .8 — Submit Plans and Specifications for 90 Percent Review to <br />Plymouth and Orono <br />Once the Cities' concerns and comments are addresses, the <br />plans, specifications and special provisions will be submitted to <br />the Mn/DOT public Input meeting and receipt of the agency <br />reviews. State Aid office for review. We will also submit a set to <br />each city for review. <br />1 .9 — Public Input Meeting <br />A public Input meeting will be scheduled before final submittal <br />of the plans for review. At this meeting, Bonestroo <br />representatives will provide the public with details on the <br />project design, scheduling and traffic controls. They will also <br />address Individual property owner concerns. <br />1 .1 0 — Request Agency Permit <br />With the construaion plans close to completion and approval, <br />all necessary permits will be requested. The early Involvement of <br />the agencies will speed the permit process and eliminate the <br />potential for surprises. <br />1 .1 1 — Revise Plans and Specifications <br />The plans, specifications and cost estimate will be completed <br />following the public input meeting and receipt of the agency <br />reviews. <br />1.12 — Submit Final Plans, Specifications and Estimates <br />The bid documentation and proposal will be completed and <br />Included In the contraa documentation. The document will be <br />bound and will Include the Itemized proposal. <br />1.13 — Prepare Contraa Documentation and Proposal <br />The completed plans, specifications, cost estimate and bid <br />documents will be submitted to the cities of Plymouth and <br />Orono and to MrVDOT for approval. <br />of Plymouth <br />emJsle Ro^ Rtconstrvaion
