Project LettfngBonestroo will advertise the projea for bids, handle the distribution of the contract plans and bid documents, and coordinate the bid opening with each City. Following the bid opening, Bonestroo will help review the bids and select a contractor . Bonestroo will be available to the Cities and the contractor to answer questions the plans or specifications.I. I — Advertise Projea <br />Bonestroo will prepare the bid and appropriate advertisements. <br />J -2 — Distribute Plans/BId Documents <br />Bonestroo will distribute construalon plans to all interested <br />bldde. s and will address questions that arise during the <br />advertising period. <br />I -3 — Open Bids/Award Projea <br />Bonestroo personnel will be present at the bid opening and will <br />help determine the low bidder. We will review the opened bids <br />for math errors, prepare post-bid tabulations and provide the <br />Cities with an award recommendation. <br />□ Construction Services <br />Bonestroo will provide construalon services for this projea. Major <br />elements of these services include contraa administration, Inspeaion, <br />staking and surveying. <br />Construction Contract Administration <br />Shawn Gustafson will funalon as a central contaa person between the <br />Cities and the construalon Inspeaors. Regular meetings will provide an <br />opportunity to discuss what's coming next and to defuse any <br />foreseeable week-to-week problems. <br />1.3 — <br />1.4 — <br />Hold Pre-construaion Conference <br />A preconstrualon conference will be held to discuss the project's <br />schedule and plans and specification review, and to establish <br />contaa persons for all Involved parties. <br />Review Projea Progress <br />Through site visits, the projea engineer will maintain <br />communication with the Inspeaors to ensure the project Is <br />proceeding as planned. <br />Financial Considerations <br />The projea engineer will be responsible for preparation and <br />submission of partial payment vouchers, preparing supplemental <br />agreements, justifying additional funding needs and preparing <br />final estimates. <br />Record Plans <br />The projea engineer will be responsible for completing record <br />plans when the project Is finished. <br />>* <br />8
