Scope of Services <br />Our proposed Scope of Services presents 3 comprehensive work plsn <br />that addresses the three major prq/ect elements: <br />> Preliminary engineering <br />► Design plans and specifications <br />► Construction services <br />The plan Is flexible enough to accommodate unforeseeable elements. <br />Our proposed scope of work reflects the commitment of the projea <br />team to give dally attenrion to the details that will result In a successful <br />prefect. In addition, your project team will have the full support of the <br />firm's professional resources to keep the project on schedule and within <br />budget. <br />□ Prelimfnaiy Design Phase <br />Project Initiation <br />During this phase, Bonestroo will establish contact with the affected <br />residents and governmental units, and will finalize the scope of work. <br />I. I — Meet with Project Management Personnel <br />Key consultant team members will meet with projea <br />management personnel from the cities of Plymouth and Orono <br />(and Wa3^ta, If needed) to finalize the work plan and schedules. <br />A revised work plan. If appropriate, will be submitted refiealng <br />revisions made during the meeting. <br />1.2 — Meet with Mn/DOT <br />We will meet with Mn/DOT State /\ld personnel to discuss the <br />work plan, design elements, reporting elements and review <br />process. <br />I -3 — Physical/Transportatlon Conditions Data Gathering <br />All available data relative to the physical and traffic conditions of <br />the roadway will be obtained from Plymouth and Orono. Utility <br />Information will also be Important. <br />I — Convene Public Information Meeting <br />A public Information meeting will be convened to Inform <br />residents of the projea a. id to obtain their Input on issues and <br />concerns. <br />Prepare Prellmlnaiy Design <br />All Information gathered to this point will be used to prepare the <br />preliminary design. Additional field surveys and a geotechnical survey <br />will be performed. Municipal State Aid criteria will be used to develop <br />the preliminary layout. A public Information meeting will be held to <br />provide an opportunity to community feedback on the preliminary <br />design.
