BOATS, DOCKS AND WATERWAYS § 6-102 <br />Sec. 6*89. Expiration. <br />A watercraft storage permit shall expire on December 31 of the year for which the permit <br />is issued. A joint dock permit or permanent dock permit shall expire upon a change in <br />ownership of the lot or lots on v^ lich or in front of which the dock or mooring area is located. <br />(Ord. No. 126, § 1(126.060(6)), 4 i-83) <br />Secs. 6-90—6-100. Reserved. <br />ARTICLE III. HARBORS AND WATER SAFETY <br />See. 6-101. Harbor limits. <br />The geogi aphical and jurisdictional limits of this city in, on and over navigable waters in <br />or adjacent to it shall extend to the harbor limits of any adjoining municipality or other <br />governmental unit. The area within three hundred (300) feet of the water line on the shore of <br />any lake or other body of water in or adjacent to the city shall be known as the "primary <br />harbor limit”. The area extending from three hundred (300) feet to the water line on the shore <br />of any lake or other body of water in or-adjacent to the city and to the harbor limits of an <br />adjoining municipality or another governmental unit shall be known as the "secondary <br />harbor limit". The harbor limits of the city shall be deemed not to extend beyond a point half <br />way between the shores of the body of water over which it has jurisdiction and the shores of” <br />the body of water located in another municipality or governmental unit. <br />(Ord. Public nuisances defined and prohibited. <br />(a) A public nuisance is a crime, punishable as a misdemeanor, and constitutes in unlaw- <br />» <br />fully doing an act or omitting to perform a duty, which act or omission shall: <br />(1) Injure or endanger the safety, health, or comfort of the public; <br />(2) Offend public decency; or, <br />(3) Unlawfully interfere with, obstruct, or tend to obstruct or render dangerous for use or <br />passage, a body of water within the harbor limits. <br />(b) The term "public nuisance" shall be deemed to include the following; <br />(1) Anything declared to be a public nuisance by ordinance. <br />(2) Any violation of this article. <br />(c) No person shall commit or maintain a public nuisance in or upon the waters of any <br />lake or other body of water within the jurisdiction of the city, nor shall any person let, permit, <br />or enable any other person to use any boat, dock, craft, or structure, or portion thereof, <br />knowing that it is intended to be used for committing or maintaining a public nuisance <br />(Ord.
