y—1— riilllP <br />Basin 15 <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />L <br />I <br />L <br />Vegetation found along the upland side of the delineated boundary ''.onsist of <br />American basswood, sugar maple, white oak Quercus alba (facultative upland), <br />black cherry Primus serotina (facultative upland) and common buckthorn. <br />Hennipen County Soil Survey classifies basin 14 soils as Glencoe silty clay <br />loam. This soil classification is found on the hvdric soils list. Soils alona the <br />* w <br />delineated boundary were identified as black (10 YR 2/0) sandy loam from 0 <br />to 12 inches. Upland soils were also identified as black sandy loam. Inside the <br />delineated boundary, soils were identified as black, silty loam with slight, dark <br />brown (7.5 YR 3/4) mottles. <br />Saturation, in the soil pit inside the delineated boundary, was identified at 11 <br />inches. Free standing water was identified in the soil pit at a depth of 12 <br />inches. No hydrology was identified in the boundary or in the upland soil pits. <br />Wetland 15 is a Type 3 (Inland Shallow Fresh Marsh) wetland. It is classified <br />as a PEMC wetland (Palustrine Emergent Seasonally Flooded). It is <br />approximately 3.5 acres in size. <br />Vegetation along the delineated boundary consists of common buckthorn <br />Rhammis cathartica (facultative upland), raspberry Riibus strigosus (facultative <br />wetland-), Kentucky bluegrass Poa prateusis (facultative -), sedge Carex spp. <br />(facultative wetland), goldenrod Solidago (facultative upland), trembling aspen <br />Popiiliis tremuloides (facultative), green ash Fraxinus pennsylvanica (facultative <br />wetland), red-osier dogwood Coniiis sericea (facultative wetland) and bo.xelder <br />Acer negimdo (facultative wetland). <br />Vegetation inside the delineated boundary consists of cattail Typha latifolia <br />(obligate), sandbar willow Salix exigiia (obligate), Canada thistle Cirsiiim <br />aneiise (facultative upland), reed canary grass Phalaris arimdinacea <br />(facultative wetland), wool grass Scirpiis cyperimts (obligate), swamp milkweed <br />Ascleplas incarnata (obligate), marsh marigold Caltha palustris (obligate), <br />sedge Carex spp. (facultative wetland) and iris Iris spp. (obligate). <br />\’egetation outside the delineated boundary consists of white oak Quercus alba <br />(facultative upland), common buckthorn, smooth sumac Rhus glabra (No <br />indicator), goldenrod, sugar Acer saccltaruni (facultative upland), green <br />ScHOELt- & Maoson, Inc.
