•I <br />Basin 14 <br />Vegetation found inside the delineated boundary consists of reed canary grass, <br />sedge, sandbar willow SalLx exigua (obligate), purple loosestrife Lythriim <br />salicaria (obligate) and cattail Typha latifolia (obligate). <br />Vegetation found along the upland side of the delineated wetland consists of <br />black cherry Prunus serotina (facultative upland), ironwood Ostrya virginianna <br />(facultative upland), white oak Qiiercus alba (facultative upland), sugar maple, <br />common buckthorn, American basswood Tilia americana (facultative upland) <br />and prickly ash Zanthoxylum americamim (facultative upland). <br />Hennipen County Soil Survey classifies basin 13 soils as peaty muck. Soils <br />inside the delineated boundary were identified as silty organics. Along the <br />delineated boundary, soils were classified as black (10 YR 2/1) platy, clay loam <br />from 0 to 12 inches. The ’•oot zone extended from 0 to 4 inches, and a high <br />organic content was no i Upland soils were identified as black (10 YR 2/1) <br />sandv loam from 0 to 12 inches. <br />Hydrology inside the dc taied boundary was identified in tlie soil pit at a <br />depth of 5 inches. Fr.’ atanding water was identified at 12 inches. No <br />hydrology was identified in the boundary or upland soil pits. <br />V'etland 14 is a Type 3 (Inland Shallow Fresh Marsh) wetland. It is classified <br />as a PEMC wetland (Palustrine Emergent Seasonally Flooded). It is <br />approximately 0.8 acres in size. <br />V'egetation along the delineated boundary consists of American basswood Tilia <br />americana (facultative upland), common buckthorn Rhatmus cathartica <br />(facultative upland), Kentucky bluegrass Poa pratensis (facultative-), cinnamon <br />fern Osmiinda cinnamonmea (facultative wetland), ironwood Ostrya virginianna <br />(facultative upland), sugar maple Acer sacchariim (facultative upland), reed <br />canary grass P/ialaris arundinacea (facultative wetland) and black nightshade <br />Solatium nigrum (facultative upland-). <br />Vegetation found inside tlie delineated boundary consists of cattails Typha <br />latifolia (obligate), sedge Carex spp. (facultative wetland), woolgrass Snrpus <br />cyperinus (obligated), reed canary grass.
