Vegetation along the delineated boundary consist of common buckthorn <br />Rhamnus ca:hartica (facultative upland), reed canary grass Phalaris <br />arundinacea (facultative wetland), smooth sumac Rhus glabra (upland), <br />goldenrod Solidago spp. (facultative upland), smartweed Polygonum <br />pennsylvanicum (facultative wetland+), trembling aspen Populus tremuloides <br />(facultative), green ash Fraxinus pennsylvanica (facultative wetland) and <br />Canada thistle Cirsium arvense (facultative upland). <br />Vegetation found inside the delineated boundary consists of reed canary grass, <br />green ash and duckweed Lemna minor (obligate). <br />Vegetation found on the upland side of the delineated boundary consists of <br />trembling aspen, common buckthorn, red oak Qiiercus rubra (facultative <br />upland), smooth sumac, goldenrod, rose Rosa spp. (facultative upland), Canada <br />thistle, bur oak Quercus macrocarpa (facultative upland), American elm Ulmus <br />americana (facultative wetland) and sugar maple Acer saccharum (facultative <br />upland). <br />Hennipen County Soil Survey classifies basin 12 soils as Glencoe silty clay <br />loam. Soils inside the wetland boundary were mucky' organics. Soils along the <br />wetland boundary c* nsist of black (10 Y'R 2/1) sandy loam. <br />Basin 13 <br />Soils inside the delineated wetland boundary were saturated to the surface. <br />Depth to free standing water in the soil pit was 10 inches. No hydrology was <br />observed along the wetland boundary or in the upland area. <br />Wetland 11 is a Type 3 (Inland Shallow Fresh Marsh) wetland. It is classified <br />as a PEMC wetland (Palustrine Emergent Seasonally Flooded). It is <br />approximately 2.6 acres in size. <br />Vegetation along the delineated boundary consists of Kentucky bluegrass Poa <br />pratensis (facultative -), reed canary grass Phalaris arundinacea (facultative <br />wetland), sedge Care.x (facultative wetland), green ash Fraxinus <br />pennsylvanica (facultative wetland), sugar maple Acer saccharum (facultative <br />upland), barberry Berberis spp. (facultative upland), ironwood Ostrya <br />virginianna (facultative upland-), red oak Qiiercus rubra (facultative upland) <br />and common buckthorn Rhamnus cathariica (facultative upland). <br />SCHOELL.
