^ •MINUTES OF A PLANNING CCMUSSION MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 20, 1976 - PAGE 4 <br />Hank Muhich presented a side elevation sketch to the <br />Planning Commission which was submitted by the Farley's <br />late this afternoon. Indications on the sketch are that the <br />addition would be 5* higher than the existing house. The <br />Farley's were present at the meeting. <br />Van Nest moved, Hosfield seconded, to recommend approval of <br />the variances required for the proposed addition to the non- <br />confonnmg residence based on the sketch provided, addition <br />is 5' higher than present ridge line and does not extend <br />g^^do^resent extremities of the house. Motion - Ayes (8), <br />CHARLES FARLEY <br />2700 CASCO PC»INT ROAD <br />VARIANCE - SIDE LOT <br />SETBACK <br />The Planning Coirniission took action on the following work session items. <br />The Nelson's are requesting approval to replace tlieir <br />existing garage whidi is badly in need of repair. ffcDonald <br />moved, Hannah seconded, to recommend approval to replace <br />garage based on the fact that the new structure <br />would be located at the same setback points and any other <br />location for this garage would require more fill. Also, <br />^lew garage would be a great improvement to the property <br />as the existing structure is badly in need of repair. <br />Motion - Ayes (8), Nays (0). <br />OLLIS NELSON <br />4099 HiaiV\IOOD ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />The Olson's were present. They are requesting approval <br />for an addition to an existing non-conforming situation. <br />Pesek moved, H^e seconded, to approve this variance based <br />on ^e fact that the proposed addition to the existing <br />residence would meet all setback requir^nents and the <br />Olson's have sufficient lot area. Motion - Ayes C8).Nays (0). <br />TERRY OLSm <br />3640 bays™ road <br />VARIANCE <br />C^cil previously approved a 15' variance (#133) so an <br />addition could be made to the existing dwelling. Mr. Jansen <br />n^ds an additional 2' width for his kitchen reducing the <br />side yard setback from the originally approved 15' to 13'. <br />Dunlap moved, Pesek seconded, to recommend approv2il of this <br />yari^e to a 13' side yard setback so the Jansen's could <br />build the addition as originally designed but had mis <br />calculated on the dimensions. <br />PHIL JANSEN <br />1085 S.
