^MINUTES OF A PLANNING CCMMISS.^N MEETING HELD SEPIBIBER 20, -PAGE 3 <br />The Planning Commission further discussed the Holiday <br />a^lication. Tlie Planning Comnission felt this was more <br />tnan a service station and would generate more traffic <br />into this area. Mr. Steinman stated they would be <br />willing to close off the access closest to the comer of <br />County R^d 15 f, 19 which they feel would help eliminate <br />some of the congestion at this intersection. <br />Van Nest moved, Hannah seconded, that this application <br />be denied based on the folloiving: <br />resulting from traffic generating <br />(2) Application is for additional service beyond <br />5°™^ ^®P^ce stations in the area. <br />relatively new service stations on comer now. <br />(4) tother recoirmend that staff be instructed to have <br />tl^ application reviev/ed by legcil counsel and <br />after City Council reaches a decision, the City <br />Attorney draft up resolution to be reviewed by the <br />Planning Commissicn at next meeting. <br />Motion - Ayes (8), Nays (0). <br />HOLIDAY STATION ^'CWES <br />3340 SHORELINE DRIVE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />VARIANCE <br />4ARY) <br />Tne Planning Commission reviewed proposed schedule of <br />shooting dates and hours for 1977 submitted to staff on <br />September 17, 1976. The Planning Commission felt there <br />were discrepancies ?n this proposed schedule and that it <br />w.^ very confusing. Mr. Maas, President of the Park Gun <br />^ of sufficient time to submit a <br />more detailed schedule. Mr. Coffin would do the survey <br />during the first two weeks of October. <br />i-t* Laidlaw and Mr. Earl Hanson, neighbors to the Park <br />Gun Club, were present.
