A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />ACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY AT 3790 SHORELINE DRIVE <br />TO BE FUNDED PARTIALLY FROM THE GENERAL FUND <br />AND PARTIALLY FROM THE PARK FUND <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the purchase of the property at 3'< <br />Shoreline Drive for the purpose of providing parkland for the neighborhood; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to provide a public vehicular access through a portion of ; <br />property to County Road 15, it may be preferable for the southern portion of the property t e <br />developed for residential use; and <br />WHEREAS, because there is a possibility that the southern portion of the pr erty <br />may be used for a non-park use, the funding for the property is being provided partially fr n the <br />General Fund and partially from the Park Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Coi il does <br />hereby authorize the property at 3790 Shoreline Drive to be purchased using S80,000 « General <br />Fund reserves and $80,000 of Park Fund reserves to preserve the flexibility to use a por m of the <br />property for a non-park use. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regu • meeting <br />held this 22nd day of November, 1999. <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mavor <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
